About Dastgeer Sahib Shrine
The Dastgeer Sahib Shrine is a 200 year old Sufi shrine located in the Khanyar area of Old City Srinagar (Shahr-e-Khaas). It is dedicated to Sheikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA) of Baghdad, the founder of the Qadiriyya Sufi order, affectionately referred to by Kashmiris as Gous-e-Azam or Dastgeer Sahib.
