Hotel Reservation Executive

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Hotel Reservations Executive to manage room bookings across our hotels in Kashmir. You will handle booking enquiries from guests, travel agents and online travel portals, and turn them into confirmed reservations. You will also manage room availability and rates so that every hotel sells the right rooms at the right price.
Responsibilities
- Handle booking enquiries from guests, travel agents and corporate clients on phone, WhatsApp and email, and reply quickly.
- Share room options, rates and availability, and send quotations for Stay Pattern hotels and partner hotels.
- Make, change and cancel reservations, and send booking confirmations and vouchers on time.
- Manage bookings coming from online travel portals (MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, Agoda, Goibibo and others) and from the Stay Pattern website.
- Update room inventory, rates and stop-sales on the channel manager and portals to avoid overbooking.
- Follow up on pending enquiries and quotations to convert them into confirmed bookings.
- Collect advance payments, track balances and share payment details with the accounts team.
- Coordinate with hotel front offices about arrivals, special requests, early check-ins and late check-outs.
- Prepare daily and monthly reports on bookings, occupancy and revenue.
- Build and maintain good relationships with B2B travel agents across India.
- Upsell room upgrades, meal plans, airport transfers and sightseeing where possible.
- Handle guest queries and complaints about bookings politely and resolve them quickly.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in hotel reservations, front office or a travel booking role.
- Graduate in any field; a degree or diploma in Hotel Management or Travel & Tourism is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with online travel portals (OTA extranets) and a channel manager or hotel PMS.
- Good knowledge of hotels and destinations in Kashmir.
- Fluent in English and Hindi/Urdu; Kashmiri is an advantage.
- Comfortable with computers, MS Excel, email and WhatsApp Business.
- Willing to work flexible hours, weekends and long days during peak season.
- Based in Srinagar or willing to relocate.
